Before the Jonas clan was a musical group, they were three brothers who loved music. Born in 1987, Kevin is the oldest of his brothers, with Joe (1989) following, and Nick (1992) being the youngest.Originally, Nick tried to launch a solo career. With the release of his 2004 album, the artists needed to practice more than ever; which is where his brothers come in. When the family started practicing together, they realized their potential. The band was born, and their album, “It’s About Time,” hit stores in 2006. But it wasn’t the right time for the Jonas Brothers, and Columbia Records lets them go when their album failed.What a big mistake for Columbia. A year later, Disney picks up the group. With Hollywood Records (Disney’s Company) the Jonas Brothers become a huge success. Their album, “Jonas Brothers,” goes platinum, the band tours with Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, and they perform at the American Music Awards.In one year, the group becomes a big success. Now, The Jonas Brothers have released four albums as well as star on their own T.V. series. Way to go Jonas!
