The news has been out for several months now that Joe Jonas has a new solo album in the works. But bigger news than that is the album is rumored to have a bit of an edge to it that has not yet been explored by anyone in the Jonas posse. The producer Danja is rumored to be involved in the release, and since he has worked on such hits as Brittney Spears’ “Gimme More” and Pink’s “Sober,” we agree there might be an edge not yet seen by Jonas fans. Joe has previously told MTV that he’s “having a blast” recording the music so this new persona must agree with him. And get this, rumor has it that Joe may even dabble in some country music sound which we’re very excited about. Heck, if Gwyneth Paltrow can hit the scene with such a warm embrace from country music fans, we’re feeling pretty bullish that fans will receive Joe equally well. Stay tuned. It’s going to be an exciting ride.
